Frequently Asked Questions

 Q- When and how do I register my child for an upcoming program?

You can register for all of our programs in person at our office at the First Federal Sportsplex in Live Oak, located at 1201 Silas Drive.  You can also register for programs through our web site.  On our Home Page, click on the “Register For Activities” tab to begin the registration process.  You will need to have your child’s birth certificate on file with us in order to complete your registration.  Please note that Swim Team and Day Camp registration must be done in person.

 Q- Do we offer multiple child discounts?

Yes, but all children receiving a discount must reside in the same household. Discounts for registering multiple children are as follows: First Child – regular registration fee, Second Child – $10 off regular registration fee, Third Child (and subsequent children) – $20 off regular registration fee.

 Q- Do we offer scholarships or payment plans for youth programs registrations?

We have a limited number of scholarships available for each program.  Scholarship applications must be filled out in person and you are responsible for paying the cost of your uniform.  Payment plans are also available for all of our program registrations.  Payment Plan applications must be filled out in person.

 Q- Where can I find my child’s coach contact information?

Q- Where can I find information about sponsoring a team?

If you or someone you know is interested in sponsoring one of our youth athletic teams, swing by our office and pick up a Sponsor Application form.  The youth athletic team sponsorship fee is $350.  We have a limited number of team color options available each season so make sure to contact us early to get your preferred team colors.

Q- How do I know if my game is rained out?

You can receive free weather updates via text message by subscribing to our Rained Out weather alert system.  To receive updated weather information for Baseball, Softball & Tee Ball, simply text SPRBASEBALL to 84483.  You can also call our weather hotline at 386-208-1580.

 Q-How do I become a coach for a youth team?

We depend entirely upon the support of volunteer coaches to make our programs successful.  We are always looking for motivated coaches to lead our teams.  The first step to becoming a coach is to complete a background check with us.  You can download the background check form by clicking here.  Return the background check form to us in person at your earliest convenience.  If you are selected to become a coach, you must attend the coaches meeting for the sport you will be coaching as well as any additional training sessions that we offer.

 Q- How many parks do we have?

We operate and maintain 20 parks. For more information click on parks and facilities.

 Q- How do I rent/reserve a facility/pavilion/pool?

 Q- Is alcohol allowed in any of the buildings?

Alcohol is prohibited in all City and County parks and facilities.

 Q- What form of payments do we accept?

We accept cash, checks, gift certificates, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover  (please note that an additional 3.5% fee will be charged to your card when paying with a credit card).
